PHOTOGRAPHY
A NOTE, TO YOU
Mothers are often the ones holding it all together, yet somehow we end up being missing from the photos. We're behind the camera, carrying the baby, wiping the faces, packing the snacks and making the memories happen. These pop-up sessions are a chance to step into the frame and be seen in the season that you are living right now.
Motherhood Portrait Pop-Ups are simple, child-led sessions with the focus on connection. There is no pressure to smile at the camera, sit still or pose perfectly. Instead, I will follow your children, embrace chaos (listen, with five kids, I thrive in chaos) and document the way they reach for your hand, tuck themselves into your lap, shake the sillies out or bury their face into your shoulder. The small moments that feel ordinary today often become the ones that we end up missing the most. As a mom to a teenage girl and to younger boys, I see both sides.
My approach is gentle and relaxed. Whether your little one is shy, busy, emotional, nursing, barefoot or covered in dirt, they are welcome exactly as they are. My intention isn't to show you a polished version of your motherhood, I want to document it exactly as it is.
One day your children will look back at these photographs and see where they belonged. They will see the way you looked at them, the way you held them, comforted them and most importantly, loved them.
Most importantly, they will see that you were there too. You were always there.

maternity
Pregnancy is one of the shortest seasons of motherhood, yet somehow one of the most life-changing. Whether you're drawn to an intimate in-home session or want to wander through an open field at sunset, we'll create photographs that feel the most natural to you. Your session includes 30+ edited digital images via online gallery within 7-10 days and last anywhere from 45-60 minutes usually.
You are welcome to do these in-home, outdoors or even in studio for an added $100 fee.

newborn
Those first few days and weeks have a way of passing in a blur. My newborn sessions are relaxed and baby-led, with plenty of time for feeding, cuddles and settling as needed. Whether we document your family at home or in the hospital shortly after birth, my goal is to preserve this season exactly as it is. I like to include a lot of your environment around you and make these as personal as I'm able. Your session includes 30+ edited digital images via online downloadable gallery within 7-10 days, and usually lasts around 60-90 minutes.

breastfeeding
Breastfeeding can feel like forever while you're in it and somehow not long enough once it's over. One day you'll have your Final Feed, and you likely won't even realize it. These sessions are about remembering the little things, the way they reach for you, the way they look up at you while they feed, tiny hands, little feeties, the comfort, the connection and the season of life that you're in together. Your session includes 30+ edited digital images via online downloadable gallery within 7-10 days. These typically take place in your home, or outdoors, and take anywhere from 20-60 minutes.

'If Stars Align'

$700 plus taxes
Birth is super unpredictable, and so is this offering. 'If Stars Align' is designed for families who would love the possibility of having their birth documented but don't need the guarantee of an on-call photographer. Rather than reserving weeks of on-call availability, this package leaves room for a little serendipity. If I happen to be available when labour begins, I'll join you to document your little ones arrival with the same documentary approach and storytelling style found in my full birth photography experience.
If our timing doesn't align, (whether because I'm attending another birth, spending time with my own family, the distance is risky outside of Regina or Moose Jaw, or because I'm simply unavailable) your session seamlessly becomes an in-home/in-hospital newborn and a cozy family mini session within that first year instead. You'll still receive those squishy early newborn images documenting the beginning of your story from a slightly different chapter. This is the perfect option for families who value flexibility, appreciate leaving a little to fate and are looking for a more accessible way to preserve one of lifes most beautiful and precious experiences.
